England vs australia live : Australia may have taken two wickets in the first 20 overs hut England have remained on top thanks to their aggressive batting. Opener Zak Crawley scored a half century in just 56 balls and he has Joe Root at the other end with Ollie Pope and Ben Duckett having fallen. England went past the 100-run mark off the second ball of the 21st over and continue with their aggressive ‘Bazball’ approach. Crawley ended up falling off the last ball of the first session on 61 off 73 balls and England were 124/3 going into Lunch England vs Australia.

    Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon all got a wicket each but England scored over 120 runs. Crawley was the constant for them throughout the session and he was undone by a ripper from Boland off the last ball of the session. His 22-run stand with Ben Duckett came in 22 balls after which came a 70-run stand with Ollie Pope off 86 deliveries. Pope scored 31 off 44 before falling to Lyon. Joe Root then put up 32 off balls with Crawley at the other end before the latter fell on 61 off 73 balls. The former England captain is now unbeaten on 20 off 33 with Harry Brook set to join him.
